This year’s annual Governor’s Cup gridiron battle between Louisville and Kentucky will kickoff at noon and be televised on the SEC Network.
The Cards will look to win their fifth straight against Kentucky in Lexington. Louisville’s lost loss to the Wildcats on the road came in 2009.
This year’s match-up looks much different now than it did a few months ago. FanDuel had Kentucky as a 13.5 points in late May. The WestGate had Kentucky -9 in August. The Wildcats may still be a favorite when this thing kicks off, but if so, not by much.
Kentucky hasn’t exactly picked up where they left off in 2018. After winning ten games last year, they’re 4-4 with four games left. Due to their injuries at the quarterback position this Kentucky team appears to be beatable.
Prior to hosting the Cards, Kentucky has a home game against Tennessee, a road game at Vanderbilt and then they’ll host UT-Martin in week eleven.
