With just four signed letters of intent coming in on signing day last month Scott Satterfield’s staff will use the February signing period to complete their 2019 class.
The staff hopes to add ten more recruits for the 2019 season and it’s now becoming clearer which players they’re going after.
Ja’Darien Boykin, a four-star, defensive end/outside linebacker, from Jones County, Georgia, is the latest recruit to pick up an offer from Louisville.

This makes sense, considering that Boykin is one of the top available defensive players left in the 2019 class and Satterfield noted that the linebacker position would be an emphasis.
247Sports ranks Boykin as the 18th best weak side defensive end in the 2019 class.
Chad Simmons of Rivals.com reports that Boykin will take an official visit to Louisville later this month.
Georgia Tech appears to be the team to beat for Boykin. The Georgia native also holds offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Pittsburgh, Tulane, Virginia and Washington State.<
