Rick Pitino and his staff are already in good shape with the 2018 class. Both Courtney Ramey and Anfernee Simons are regarded as two of the top twenty or so guards in the country.
I’d say the UofL staff will look to add at least two more recruits in 2018. My guess would be that they’ll look to add one more perimeter player (hopefully Romeo Langford) and a post player.
The 2018 class isn’t considered to be very deep when it comes to post-players, which is one of the reasons Pitino and his staff went all in on UConn transfer Steven Enoch. With that said, there are still a a couple of highly rated front-court prospects that the UofL staff is pursuing.
Immanuel Bates, a 6-foot-9, power forward, wasn’t on Louisville’s radar until earlier this summer. The four-star prospect picked up a scholarship offer from the UofL staff a few weeks ago and now has the Cards in his updated list.

Bates is also considering Depaul, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, South Carolina and Xavier. It sounds like Louisville and North Carolina State are the leaders at this point, but things could certainly change.
