Former Louisville linebacker Chris Campa has tragically passed away at the age of 32.
Campa was found dead at a home in Orlando on Friday morning.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman was stabbed and a man was found dead at an Orange County home early Friday, authorities said.
Officials initially responded to Orlando Regional Medical Center around 1:45 a.m. in response to a 27-year-old woman being treated for stab wounds, according to deputies.
Deputies said they then went to a home connected to the woman in the 1000 block of West Kaley Street, where they found Christopher Campa, 32, dead.
The relationship between the woman and man is unknown.
Detectives spent hours collecting evidence at the home Friday.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Campa transferred to Louisville from Butler Community College and was a member of the Cardinal defense in 2008 and 2009.
He played a total of 23 games in two seasons. In his final season Campa led the Cards in total solo tackles with 58 and sacks with six.
