With college basketball’s July recruiting period starting on Thursday Chris Mack and his staff will hit the road this week as they to try assemble their 2020 recruiting class.
One of the many prospects from the 2020 class that the Louisville staff is pursuing is Isaiah Jackson, a 6-foot-9, five star power forward from Detroit.
Jackson has held a Louisville offer for over a year and recently trimmed his list to six — Arizona, Creighton, Michigan, Michigan State, Louisville and UConn.
247Sports has Jackson ranked as the 16th best player in the 2020 class.
Jackson spent last season at Spire Academy in Ohio, but recently moved back to Detroit to attend Old Redford Academy.
Michigan State is believed to be the favorite for Jackson, but Chris Mack and Luke Murray have been persistent since taking over the Louisville program last spring.
