Scott Satterfield and his staff received good news on Tuesday morning.
T.J. Holl, graduate transfer from Colgate University announced that he will finish his collegiate career at Louisville.
I am so blessed to be in this position and thank you to everyone that has been a part of my journey. I’ve talked to my family and I’ve thought a lot about it and I’m ready to make my decision. I’m excited to say that I’m committed to the University of Louisville! L’s Up! pic.twitter.com/x6BqDudB9Z

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound, linebacker was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year for the FCS’s No. 1 defense.
In 2018 Holl finished with 121 tackles (10.1 per game) — including 17 for loss — and had 3.5 sacks.
The Pennsylvania native chose Louisville over offers from Cincinnati, Marshall, Buffalo, Tulane and Texas-San Antonio.
I would expect Holl to compete for first team reps in 2019 given that the linebacker position was one of many that Satterfield needed to add depth.<
