The first season of the Chris Mack era is far from over and we have no clue how things will play out over the next month or so. With that said, I’d say year one has been a pleasant surprise thus far.
This season is unique for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest factors is that expectations were unknown. With success, expectations change. Therefore, I think it’s fair to expect Louisville to be a second weekend team.
If that doesn’t happen we’ll be bummed because no one is happy when the season ends. With that said, given that this was such a house money type season it’s far different than flaming out early when you had Final Four expectations.<
