Former Louisville Cardinal Elvis Dumervil has found a new home for his 12th season in the National Football League. The San Francisco 49ers announced on Monday afternoon that they’ve signed Dumervil for the upcoming season.
49er’s general manager John Lynch was thrilled to make the announcement.

San Francisco will be Dumervil’s third stop in the NFL. He spent his first seven seasons with the Denver Broncos and has played for the Baltimore Ravens over the past four years. A foot injury limited Dumervil to just eight games in 2016.
