The Louisville Cardinal football program didn’t have much representation in this year’s NFL Draft, but a handful of former Cardinals that went undrafted have since agreed to free agent contracts with various NFL teams.
–Brandon Radcliff, RB, Indianapolis Colts
–Keith Kelsey, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers
–Cole Hikutini, TE, San Francisco 49ers
–DeAngelo Brown, DT, Tennessee Titans
–Keith Towbridge, TE, Buffalo Bills
–James Quick, WR, Washington Redskins
–Jamari Staples, WR, Chicago Bears
–Giovanni Pascascio, WR, Tennessee Titans
Long-snapper Colin Holba was the first former Cardinal drafted, going in the sixth round to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Safety Josh Harvey-Clemons was taken by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round.
Linebacker/defense end Devonte Fields was projected to be taken anywhere between the fourth and seventh round, but didn’t hear his name called. As of Sunday afternoon it doesn’t appear that Fields has signed as an undrafted free agent yet.<
