For the second time in recent weeks a local product with an offer from Louisville has committed elsewhere.
Shawnkel Knight-Goff, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound, defensive end out of Doss High School chose Kentucky over Louisville during halftime of his teams game on Friday night.

Knight-Goff is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and is ranked as the ninth best player in the state of Kentucky.
Despite decommitting from Kentucky over the summer, the Wildcats have always been believed to be the leader for Knight-Goff. With that said, it’s never good to see a hometown recruit pick the rival school.<
