Donovan Mitchell Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Utah Jazz

By now I hope everyone realizes just how real and scary the Coronavirus situation has become. If the recent action in this country hasn’t shown you that, maybe hearing how it’s impacting one of your favorite former Cardinals will help.

On Thursday morning former Louisville Cardinal Donovan Mitchell became the second NBA player to test positive for the Coronavirus.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Mitchell was the only teammate of Rudy Gobert to contract the virus. News of Gobert having the Coronavirus broke on Wednesday evening, which led to the NBA suspending their season.

Donovan confirmed the unfortunate news on Instagram.

“We are all learning more about the seriousness of this situation and hopefully people can continue to educate themselves and realize that they need to behave responsibly both for their own health and for the well being of those around them.”
