Donovan Mitchell met with multiple NBA teams leading up to the NBA Draft Combine, but his first actual workout was this past weekend with the Utah Jazz.
Mitchell was one of six NBA Draft hopefuls to work out in Salt Lake City on Saturday. Frank Mason III (Kansas), Josh Hart (Villanova) Long Perrantes (Virginia), Devin Robinson (Florida) and Amile Jefferson (Duke) also participated in the workout.
The Jazz have two first round picks at 24th and 30th, which means Mitchell may be off the board when Utah is on the clock. DraftExpress.com predicts Mitchell will be taken with the 12th overall pick by the Detroit Pistons.
Mitchell says he’s expected to workout with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Chicago Bulls next.
