Louisville legend Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz haven’t had the start that most expected this season. After catching fire last year and making it to the Western Conference Semifinals, the Jazz are just 23-21 thus far in 2018-19 and are one game out of eighth place in the West.
With that said, if Mitchell stays as hot as he’s been in the last few games, I’d expect the Jazz to climb in the standings. Utah has won three straight games with Mitchell scoring a total of 100 points in the three wins.
Donovan’s big weekend started on Friday night when he scored 33 points, dished out nine assists, blocked two shots and threw down what is likely the NBA’s dunk of the year.
Poor Javele McGee.
On Saturday evening Donovan showed up to Vivint Smart Home Arena for Utah’s match-up with the Chicago Bulls wearing a Cardinal hoody.

I’d say he was pretty proud of his alma-mater for their blowout win at North Carolina earlier in the afternoon.
Mitchell finished with 34 points, six rebounds and six assists in Utah’s 110-102 win over the Bulls.
What a guy!<
