It’s been more than 40-years since college football has had a back-to-back Heisman trophy winner, but after one week, Louisville’s Lamar Jackson has better odds to win the trophy than any other player in the country.
Las Vegas sports book Bovada released their updated odds on Tuesday afternoon and Jackson’s odds have improved from 15/2 to 4/1. Jackson has jumped ahead of USC quarterback Sam Darnold who had been the favorite for nearly the entire off-season.
Jackson produced 485-yards of total offense in Louisville’s season opening win against Purdue.
