Thoughts and prayers are in need for former University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Denny Crum.
WFPL.org was the first to report that Crum suffered what doctors believe to be a mild stroke. Crum fell ill while fishing in Alaska on Wednesday and was air-lifted to a local hospital.
Crum’s wife, Susan Sweeney-Crum, informed WFPL on Thursday that her husband’s condition has improved and he could be released from the hospital as early as this weekend.
As of this afternoon, it appears Crum is continuing to recover.
