Approximately two hours before tip, UofL sports information director Kenny Klein announced that junior swing-man Deng Adel will not play in the Cards game against Pittsburgh.
This is the second straight game Adel has been sidelined due to an ankle injury.

Adel appeared to have suffered the injury during the second half of Monday’s loss to Syracuse. While going up for a break away layup, Adel came down awkwardly. He was quickly taken out of the game, but returned. Adel is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 15 points per game.
The Cards didn’t have much trouble without him against Georgia Tech on Thursday. They should be able to get by against Pittsburgh who is winless in ACC play.
