Approximately two hours before tip-off, UofL has announced that junior swing-man Deng Adel will not play in Wednesday night’s game against Georgia Tech, due to an ankle injury.

Adel appeared to have suffered the injury during the second half of Monday’s loss to Syracuse. While going up for a break away layup, Adel came down awkwardly. He was quickly taken out of the game, but did return.
Adel is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 15 points per game.
