Future Cardinal QB Damarcus Smith, is attempting to graduate from Seneca High School in December, in hopes to enroll at UofL a semester early. If Smith is going to compete for the starting job next season, spring ball with the program would greatly benefit him.
Current freshman QB Luke Woodley, graduated from high school a semester early last year and was able to participate in the Spring. I imagine this trend will become a lot more common for players who have the academic standing to do so.
Smith, will be working with Eric Bledsoe for the next couple months, learning how to get credits for grades he didn’t earn.<
