Assistant football coach Kenny Carter shared some great news with the fans last night at the Cardinal Caravan. Miami running back Corvin Lamb has been academically cleared to play and will arrive in July.
Lamb was the first player to sign with coach Strong in 2010, but failed to qualify. He was just a 2-star prospect coming out of high school, but chose the Cards over Ole Miss, West Virginia, Mississippi State, North Carolina, and Nebraska.
The 5-10 220 lb. running back has reportedly ran a 4.3 second 40-yard-dash. As a senior in high school, Lamb won national AAU titles in the 100-meter and 200-meter races. The kid is FAST!<
