Cards Hammer Ohio State – Cruise to Regional Championship Game

The UL baseball team waited out 2 rain delays while taking down Ohio State in convincing fashion 15-3 last night. The Cards hammered out 19 hits (.442 avg), while the pitching staff, led by Brendan McKay’s

10 strikeouts limited the Buckeyes to only 6 hits. In the first two games of the regional Louisville has outscored the competition 21-4.

Today, the Cards will take on the winner of the Ohio State –vs- Wright State game at 4:00 PM, at Jim Patterson Stadium.
