At this time last week, former running back Brandon Radcliff was unemployed and looking for work. Radcliff got an opportunity to work out for two teams in a five-day span and on Sunday he landed a contract.
The Tennessee Titans signed Radcliff to their 90-man training camp roster. Radcliff will compete in training camp in hopes of making the Titans final 53-man regular season roster.
The Florida native was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts in April, but was later waived a week later. Radcliff worked out for the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, but wasn’t offered a contract.
Radcliff had a better season in 2016 than most realize. In the shadows of Lamar Jackson, Radcliff rushed for 903 yards on 138 carries, an average of over 6.5-yards per carry. In his career at UofL Radcliff rushed for 2,365 yards and 26 touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry.
