One of Louisville’s three commitments from the 2019 class confirmed on Monday evening that he still plans to sign with the Cardinals on Wednesday’s national signing day.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound running back initially committed to Louisville in June, choosing the Cards over Purdue, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. He also had offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Marshall, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Western Kentucky.
Although he remained a part of Louisville’s 2019 class, in recent weeks Robbins appeared to be keeping his options open.
Earlier this month Robbins took an official visit to BYU and recently got a visit from Kentucky assistant coach Vince Marrow.
Robbins is one of just three players from Louisville’s 2019 recruiting class that had their scholarship offer honored under the new staff.<
