Just weeks after hearing his name called in the lottery of the NBA Draft, former Louisville Cardinal Donovan Mitchell has reportedly landed a shoe contract.
According to Nick DePaula of The Vertical, Mitchell has agreed to sign a multi-year shoe deal with adidas. The details of the deal haven’t been made public just yet.
Mitchell has had a very strong showing in summer league play. In three games in the Utah league, Mitchell averaged 15.3 points and made a handful of impressive plays. He’s played in just one game in the Las Vegas league and put up 19-points.
The former Cardinal will join James Harden, Kristaps Porzingis, Damian Lillard, Joel Embiid and a few other high profile NBA players as an Adidas-sponsored athlete.
