Steve Addazio and the Boston College Eagles could be without their star player for the second straight week as they host Louisville on Saturday.
Sophomore running back A.J. Dillon went down with an ankle injury and didn’t return during Boston College’s week five win over Temple.
The ACC preseason Player of the Year was listed as game-time decision for the Eagles game at North Carolina State, but ultimately didn’t travel with the team to Raleigh.
During Monday’s press conference Coach Addazio says his star player is improving, but couldn’t provide an update as far as his status for Saturday’s game against Louisville.

In Dillon’s absence, redshirt sophomore running back Ben Glines has done a fine job.
Against Temple, Glines had 23 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown, almost entirely in the second half. Against North Carolina State he carried the ball 16 times for 90 yards and a touchdown, while also catching two passes for 19 yards and another touchdown.
