Junior defensive tackle Randy Salmon will be sidelined for the next four weeks. Charlie Strong said during his weekly radio show that the Atlanta native has contracted mononucleosis.
Salmon has played in eight games for the Cards this season recording 20 total tackles and 1 sack. Fortunately for Louisville, the defensive line probably has more depth than any other position on the field.
Salmon will likely miss the rest of the regular season. He could possibly return for a bowl game.
