Like most Louisville fans my age, I grew up in the later days of the Denny Crum era. As a youngster, I would shoot three-pointers in my driveway and pretend like I was DeJuan Wheat. I used to throw down ferocious slam dunks on my nerf goal as if I was Marques Maybin. At the age of seven, i knew very little about football. However, I knew Ron Cooper wasn't the answer.
