According to FOXSports.com, former Louisville legend Brian Brohm worked out with the Saints earlier this afternoon. In that workout Brohm was throwing passes to hall-of-fame receiver Randy Moss, who is also attempting an NFL comeback.
Brohm was cut from the Buffalo Bills following the 2010 season and spent last year with the UFL’s Las Vegas Locomotives. Brohm, entering the game in relief of starter Chase Clement, saw his first action in a game against the Virginia Destroyers on September 24, 2011 completing 10-19 passes for 111 yds and 2 touchdowns in a 34-17 loss. He is currently a restricted free agent.
Randy Moss seemed impressed with Brohm’s arm this afternoon. I’d love to see Brian get another shot in the NFL. It could be Chris Redman story all over again.
