With Chris Mack’s 2019 recruiting class signed, sealed and all but delivered. the Louisville staff has since shifted their attention to the 2020 class.
It’s still too early to know which prospects are at the top of the Louisville staff’s wish list, but we know of at least one that appears to be a top target.
Zach Loveday, a 7-foot, center, from Gallipolis, Ohio, picked up an offer from Chris Mack in June and the interest level has grown over the past few months.
Since landing an offer, Loveday has taken two unofficial visits to Louisville and the staff has been in to see him in Ohio more than once.
Florida appears to be Louisville’s biggest competition for Loveday, but he also holds offers from Indiana, Ohio State, Stanford and Xaiver, among others.
Loveday announced on Monday that he’ll be transferring from Gallipolis Gallia Academy to Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He’s now teammates with Louisville signee Quinn Slazinski.<
