If I’m being honest, tonight’s match-up between Louisville and Houston isn’t exactly a marquee match-up on the college basketball docket. The Cougars have lost five of their last six games and they’ll probably be a total of 3,000 people in the arena for tonight’s 9 PM tip.
To make things worse, due to Wednesday evening’s weather, the Cards didn’t actually arrive in Houston until a littler before 1 AM eastern time on Wednesday morning.
With all that said, there is one benefit from Louisville’s trip to Houston. Cardinal head coach Rick Pitino was able to reunite with one of the better players to ever suit up for him at Louisville.

Former Cardinal Francisco Garcia is in his ninth season in the NBA and his second season with the Houston Rockets. He caught up with Pitino and the team on Wednesday afternoon.
