After a three month hiatus, Louisville native Quentin Snider is back where he belongs. He is a Louisville Cardinal.
The 6-foot-1 four star point guard had been committed to Rick Pitino for two years, but abruptly decided to reopen his recruitment on July 31st. Just a few weeks later he decided to commit to the University of Illinois.
Snider was set to sign his national letter of intent with the Illini on Wednesday, which is the first day of college basketball’s early signing period, however, that didn’t happen.
As we reported last night, somehow, someway, Snider and the Louisville coaching staff had rekindled their relationship at some point this week.
At around 10:45 AM, The Cardinal Connect had confirmed that the University of Illinois coaching staff had been notified that Snider had decommitted from the program and has signed his letter of intent with the University of Louisville.
Stay tuned to The Cardinal Connect as we’ll have much more on this story.
