Montrezl Harrell Ranked As The Top NBA Prospect In The American Conference

harrell scouting report

The offseason emergence from Louisville sophomore forward Montrezl Harrell is something I’ve never seen before. Despite only playing 16 minutes per game as a true freshman, Harrell has been named a Preseason Second Team All American by USA Today and is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Although areas of his game are still a little raw, given his unbelievable athleticism and tireless energy, Harrell projects well to the NBA. Although he’s only listed at 6-foot-6 without shoes on, his 7-foot-3 wing-span and 8-foot-11 standing reach make Harrell a huge threat around the rim.

The folks at name Harrell the top NBA prospect in the American Athletic Conference. They put together an awesome preseason scouting video. Watching this should only make you more excited about what is to come this season.
