Scout.com updated their 2014 recruiting class rankings on Monday morning with Louisville coming in at No. 2. Louisville made a significant climb to No. 2 after JaQuan Lyle’s commitment in late June. Outside of North Carolina, Louisville is the only other team in the country to have commitments from three different players who are all ranked in the top 40.

  1. Louisville is one of 2 teams with three top 40 commits(?).

  2. I think he meant 3 players in the top 40 that play different positions?

  3. Lol either way, off to a great start. You can count on at least one more 5* for 2014, hopefully its Lyles

  4. Good start, now lets get some bigs, I’m more interested in how they fit at the college level than what they are ranked in high school, that being said I like this groups potential !
    GO CARDS!

  5. It is always good that they get good players but I am with Kevin how they fit on the team and play at the college level is what is most important.

  6. Larry Deatherage

I’m a diehard Tar Heel fan and they really need to get a great athletic center like a Worthy or a Perkins or maybe two such players!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Who cares what Louisville has. This is way too early to worry about recruiting. Kentucky will end up #1 again!

  8. Rankings mean nothing this time of year, wait until UK drops 3 or 4 top ten players on you!
