Luke Hancock Survives The First Cut For The World University Games

The World University Games roster was cut down to 16 players Wednesday morning, and Louisville forward Luke Hancock is one of the 16 players still remaining. Thirteen players who were invited to the training camp were cut this morning. Here is a list of the 16 remaining players.

-Yogi Ferrell, Indiana
-Davante Gardner, Marquette
-Treveon Graham, VCU
-Jerian Grant, Notre Dame
-Luke Hancock, Louisville
-Tyler Haws, BYU
-Rodney Hood, Duke
-Cory Jefferson, Baylor
-Sean Kilpatrick, Cincinnati
-Alex Kirk, New Mexico
-Doug McDermott, Creighton
-Adreian Payne, Michigan State
-Chasson Randle, Stanford
-Will Sheehey, Indiana
-Aaron White, Iowa

The final roster for the World University Games will be cut to twelve. The team will continue to practice this week in Colorado Springs, CO., at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. The 12-man roster is expected to be released at the end of this week. The World University Games will take place from July 7-16 in Kazan, Russia.
