Blake Bone, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound, wide receiver from Woodruff, SC., is one of the many highly ranked prospects that has visited Louisville over the past couple of weeks. Apparently his recent visit went well.
Bone recently cut his list to four schools and Charlie Strong and the Cards are in the mix. The South Carolina native is down to Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Kentucky, in no particular order.
Louisville is already loaded at the wide receiver position, but Bone is a guy you definitely bring in if you can. He finished his junior season with 65 catches for 1,150 yards and 15 touchdowns. At 6-foot-4, Boone is a match-up nightmare for smaller defensive backs.
His home state school, South Carolina, has always been thought to be the leader, but Louisville is definitely a strong consideration for Bone. He tells Michael Clark of Scout.com that Charlie Strong reminds him a lot of his high school head coach.
Let’s not ignore the fact that Blake Bone could be Louisville’s next Honey Mustard, considering Damian Copeland is entering his senior season.
