Rick Pitino Hopes To Have Another Makers Mark Bottle Signing Event

If you were able to get your Rick Pitino Makers Mark commemorative bottle signed on Thursday at the KFC Yum! Center, consider yourself lucky. Despite producing 12,600 of the bottles, there were only 700 tickets available for the exclusive signing, which sold out online in less than a minute.

There were quite a few Louisville fans who were a little upset about not being able to get a ticket for the signing. Worry no more, Card fans. Rick Pitino has your back.

“I know a lot of people got shut out of this and I’m going to make time throughout the summer,” Pitino said following the signing. “We’ll give them a weeks announcement notice to go somewhere and sign another 300 to 400 at a time so, I’ll make sure I get to them.”

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the future bottle signing event.

  1. I really hope there are other signings. It’s the right thing to do!!!

  2. When I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the same comment. Is there a means you can remove me from that service? Kudos!|
