Purvis didn’t have a good year in fact I think he got injured and some of the other guys had injuries as well during the season.

Yeah.Pervis went down in a game vs. Ohio St. if I remember correctly. We actually didn’t do too badly while he was out but went into a bit of a skid when he returned, like the whole team was relying on Pervis to do everything.
I also remember 2009 when the Cards got cocky and acted like they expected to just waltz thru the tournament as the #1 overall seed and then lost by a dozen to the Spartans in Indy.
