Louisville is now being projected as a number one seed by Jerry Palm of CBS Sports. Palm, along with Joe Lunardi of ESPN are two bracketologists that seem to be mentioned the most.

I certainly wouldn’t be complaining if this was the bracket that Louisville ended up with. I still think Louisville will need to make it to at least the Big East tournament finals in order to have a shot at a number one seed.

  1. UNC has looked like a very dangerous team as of late. That’s the only thing I see with this bracket

  2. Ohio State, Mich. St., Kansas, that is some tough competition. But, I’ll take the #1 seed and play whoever is in the way.

  3. number one seeds are picked on a total body of work during the regular season, they are pretty much locked in before the confwerence tourneys start………………….G-O-C-A-R-D-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. This bracket is extremely difficult, kansas, michigan st. Ohio st. That makes me very nervous

  5. You would not complain about this bracket, are you kidding me??

    UNC is red hot
UNLV and UCLA have future lottery picks and a lot of talent on those teams
Kansas matches up with us really well due to the bigs down low and their length on the perimeter
Ohio State and Mich State are both really really good as well

That would be an unbelievably tough draw. Give me a 2 seed in Gonzaga’s bracket, I would take that any day of the week! Cards have NEVER lost as a 2 seed

  6. Jake Hellman

I would rather be a two seed in the Gonzaga bracket.

  7. Yes, some of those teams r tough, but its march and u r going to get everybody’s best. To be the best u have to beat the best. GO CARDS!!!

  8. Gonzaga doesn’t deserve to be a top 1-4 seed. They have a 90 strength of schedule and have only played 3 top 20 teams and got beat by two of them on won the other by 1 point.

  9. This isn’t set in stone by any means but if we beat UNC, OSU, MSU and/or KU on our way to the championship then that a hell of a run!

  10. The way the Cards are playing right now I don’t think it matters who they play! Rick has them focused and ready to roll!! #CardNation

  11. Isnt northwestern where swopeshire plays

  12. Sorry northeastern…..that would be cool

    • Swop is out for the year, sadly

  13. Bring it on cards can handle it
