There wasn’t a whole lot to be excited about earlier this afternoon when the Big East released the 2013 football schedules for each league member. While Louisville is expected to have their best season in school history, the schedule may be as bad as it’s been in a decade.

Fortunately for Louisville fans there was positive news that came shortly after the schedules were released. The school announced that the there will be $1 beers available before and during the spring football game on April 13.

Pre-game festivities will be in Streetfest where there will be music, entertainment, food and drink specials; including $1 beer. The $1 beer offer will extend into the stadium, throughout the game. There will also be inflatables for kids as well as Spring Game posters available to the fans for a $1.00 donation to Wendy’s Wonderful kids.

This is good news. Very good news. Considering how much Cardinal fans enjoy cold brewski’s, this Spring Game may set an attendance record. Of course Louisville coming off of a Sugar Bowl win and having a guy named Teddy Bridgewater may have something to do with it as well.
