Former Louisville star Terrence Williams is in day six of his 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics. Last Thursday, the final day that NBA teams are allowed to make trades, Boston sent center Jason Collins and the expiring contract of shooting guard Leandro Barbosa to the Washington Wizards in exchange for shooting guard Jordan Crawford. Considering Williams and Crawford are both combo guards, it looked as if he may be a replacement for T-Will. His long term future with Boston is still unknown at this point, but Williams has made the most of opportunity thus far.

In three games for the Celtics, T-Will is averaging 14 minutes, 4.3 points, 2 assists and 2. 7 rebounds. On Friday against the Phoenix Suns, Williams finished with nine points, four rebounds and four assists.

Considering Boston lacks depth at the guard position and is still fighting for a playoff spot, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them sign T-Will for the remainder of the season. Regardless what happens in Boston, Williams has proven he belongs in the league.

  1. These highlights just further show me that T-Will belongs in the NBA. Hopefully he gets to stay around some good players/leaders like kg and pierce. He is a good nba player.

  2. He’s a really good player. He just needs to check his attitude.
