Rick Pitino picked up his second verbal commitment from the 2014 class tonight.
Shaqquan Aaron, a 6-foot-8 combo guard from Seattle, WA., announced his decision tonight prior to his Rainer Beach High School’s district title game.
Aaron chose Louisville over Arizona, UCLA and Washington. His commitment came less than two weeks after he made an official visit to Louisville.
Aaron is rated as a four-star prospect and ranked as the 34th best player in the 2014 class. He is the second member of Louisville’s 2014 class, joining Quentin Snider, a 6-foot-1 five-star point guard from Louisville Ballard High School. Aaron is the third high level recruit from the Seattle area to commit to Louisville. Peyton Siva and Terrence Williams were also from the Seattle area.
