Since the folks over at ESPN launched its weekly “College Gameday” broadcast back in 2005, Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals have played in six College Gameday matchups. They’re 4-2 all time and have won their last three.

Jan. 21, 2006 – #3 UConn at #17 Louisville: Loss, 58-51
Feb. 18, 2006 - Louisville at Syracuse: Loss, 79-66
Feb. 9, 2008 – #6 Georgetown at Louisville: Win, 59-51

The Joyce Center in South Bend, IN., has always been one of the tougher places to play in the Big East and Louisville hasn’t won a game at Notre Dame since 1994. However, the Irish haven’t protected its home court as well as you’d expect this season. They’ve already lost two home games in 2013, which doesn’t sound bad, but prior to this season; the Irish had only lost two game games in the last four years.

HUGE game on the road. Tough to Win @Notredame. We need this Win. Must win during this last stretch of Cincy Syr ND twice. Start Trezz make Chane more aggressive during his mins. And do we have any set plays for the one armed Dieng.?
