mikyleRick Pitino’s 2013 recruiting class looks to be complete. However, things can always change. Pitino has even said this himself. Montrezl Harrell is a perfect example of how things can develop during the offseason. At this point, I’d say Louisville will not bring in any other players in 2013, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped following prospects.

According to Ryan Schmidt, the head coach at 22-Feet Academy, a prep school in Eastern Kentucky, Louisville is one of the many schools that have recently placed a phone call to inquire about MiKyle McIntosh, a 6-foot-6 225-pound prospect.

McIntosh is originally from Canada and moved to the states just a couple of years ago. He attended Christian Faith High School in North Carolina when he first arrived in the states, but left the school when they had a coaching change. McIntosh is a very talented player that many are just now finding out about.

Duquesne, Illinois State, St. Bonaventure, Charlotte and Hawaii have offered scholarships. North Carolina, Kansas, Louisville, UConn and Florida have all inquired about McIntosh, according this his coach. His stock climbed in December when he averaged 28 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists per game at a prep school showcase in Toronto.

I doubt Louisville’s interest is serious at this point, but McIntosh may be someone to keep an eye on.
