Russ Smith One Of Twelve Midseason Finalists For USBWA Oscar Robinson Award

According to Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports, Russ Smith is one of twelve players to make the United States Basketball Writers Association midseason Oscar Robinson player of the year list. Here is the list of twelve.

I still think it’s a long shot for Russ to win any of the national player of the year awards, but it’s nice to see he’s still being recognized despite Louisville’s three game losing streak.
