harell 1Even though Louisville forward Chane Behanan was having one of his better games of the season, the absence of freshman Montrezl Harell had many fans puzzled during last night’s game against UConn.

I initially thought Rick Pitino may have just thought Chane Behanan was a better fit for last night’s match-up and he certainly played well. However, after the game Pitino said there were other reasons that factored into why Harrell played only four minutes.

“He was throwing up and well it was coming out on both ends,” Pitino said when asked if there was anything wrong with Harrell. “He could have played, but I was just a little concerned.”

That may have been a little too much info, but at least we know why he didn’t play much.

  1. Lol, too much info indeed. Here’s hoping he puts his illness behind him soon.

  2. I wondered why he didn’t play, when I watched the reply this morning I noticed that he didn’t look good and got yanked early….. I just figured he was in the dog house or something…. Good to know it was just an illness. Hopefully he can get to feeling better soon! Trez is a beast!
