Chane Behanan Expected To Play Tomorrow Against South Florida

chane kisses 1Rick Pitino shared some pretty surprising news this afternoon as he met with the media to preview Louisville’s match-up with South Florida tomorrow afternoon.

Just two days after announcing that starting forward Chane Behanan would miss seven-to-ten days and possibly miss up to four games with a sprained ankle, Pitino now says he expects Behanan to play tomorrow.

Coach Pitino says he doesn’t expect Behenan to be in the starting lineup, but he will play. Behanan has apparently told assistant coaches that he is ready to get back on the court. “I’ll take him at his word,” says Pitino.

I could probably start a separate blog strictly about Rick Pitino and Louisville’s injuries.

And, you could start another about the misleading information we get from Pitino; not that I mind it, I suspect it is part of his genius, subterfuge, overwhelm the enemy’s senses with incorrect data.
