Some media members in the Tampa area are speculating that Louisville commit Richard Benjamin may switch his commitment to South Florida. Benjamin, 3-star cornerback/wide receiver from Tampa, FL., committed to Louisville on Dec. 16th while on an official visit. He will take a visit to his hometown school on Friday, but says on Twitter that the rumors of him possibly de-committing are not true.

Benjamin is one of the higher rated prospects currently committed to Louisville. He chose the Cards over Texas A&M and West Virginia. I don’t think there is too much to be concerned about. As I mentioned yesterday, it’s very common for guys to continue taking visits despite being firm on their commitment. With that said, new USF coach Willie Taggart is one helluva recruiter.
