Leron Black, a 6-foot-7 195-pound power forward from Memphis, TN., de-committed from Baylor earlier this week. Louisville is one of a handful of schools that Black is now considering.
According to Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports, Black’s new list includes Kentucky, Baylor, Ohio St, Florida, UConn, Memphis, Kansas, Missouri, NC State, Louisville, Tennessee, and Vandy.
Black is rated as a 5-star prospect and is considered to be one of the top players in the 2014 class.
Prior to committing to Baylor, Louisville’s staff was very familiar with Black. He doesn’t currently have a scholarship offer according to Scout.com, but I’m sure the interest level will pick up now that he is back on the board.
Black is still considering Baylor, but as of right now it looks like Kentucky could be the favorite. There is still a lot of time for things to develop with Black’s recruitment.
