pitino calMany had been asking all week for a point spread, however Vegas hadn’t released one until just an hour or so ago.

Louisville opened as a 7.5 point favorite against Kentucky.

Many statistical college basketball gurus were setting the line at around 9-to-10. I honestly think 7.5 is pretty fair. I also expect the line to drop slightly before tipoff. However, If I am a betting man, which I’m not, I’d have to take Louisville.

It’s not that Kentucky doesn’t have a chance to win this game, but I think there is a better chance of Louisville winning by double digits than Kentucky keeping it that close.

  1. Glad we won, but the refs took control of the game when we went up by 17, jus to make sure the point spread was covered, so even tho we won, if u bet the spread then u lost money, way to go Vegas!!!!
