Louisville commit Kyle Bolin has reportedly picked up a scholarship offer from Kentucky. Bolin, a 6-foot-3 quarterback has been verbally committed to Louisville since September of 2011.
He is a Lexington native and has made it very clear over the years via his Twitter account that he hates the University of Kentucky.
Bolin also has offers from Cincinnati and Illinois. He is rated as a 4-star prospect by Scout.com. His senior season at Lexington Catholic was cut short after he torn his ACL just a few games into the season.
Mark Stoops recently took the job at Kentucky and has been making some noise on the recruiting trail. He hasn’t picked up any commitments yet, but Stoops is going after a lot of high level prospects.
I expect Bolin will still sign with Louisville, but it’ll be interesting to see how he responds to the interest from Kentucky
