Kentucky Coach Mark Stoops Going After Louisville Commit Kyle Bolin

kyle bolin 2Louisville commit Kyle Bolin has reportedly picked up a scholarship offer from Kentucky. Bolin, a 6-foot-3 quarterback has been verbally committed to Louisville since September of 2011.

He is a Lexington native and has made it very clear over the years via his Twitter account that he hates the University of Kentucky.

Bolin also has offers from Cincinnati and Illinois. He is rated as a 4-star prospect by His senior season at Lexington Catholic was cut short after he torn his ACL just a few games into the season.

Mark Stoops recently took the job at Kentucky and has been making some noise on the recruiting trail. He hasn’t picked up any commitments yet, but Stoops is going after a lot of high level prospects.

I expect Bolin will still sign with Louisville, but it’ll be interesting to see how he responds to the interest from Kentucky

  1. And let the battle begin!! I hope Coach Strong pits his foot on Stoops throat! I think he took it easy on Joker cuz they’re friends.

  2. he tweeted the other day that he was still #cardstrong..he wont be going anywhere

  3. Stoops is being very disrespectful. But I kinda like his “Fuck Y’all” attitude. Should get real interesting on the recruiting trail here soon. But Kyles not budging(knock on wood). Good to see UK have a coach with some balls tho..#CardNation

  5. Yeah Kyle tweets againt UK all the time, he’s not going anywhere.

  6. Good. I’m tired of taking it easy on UK. Make the rivalry more intense by giving us a coach we can truly dislike. I liked Joker. I wish him the best. This Stoops guy seems like someone I can grow to strongly dislike, just like Calipari. By the way, I notice that Calipari hasn’t been shooting off his suck here lately. I wonder why, Mr. “only team in the state!” lol!

  7. Bolin grew up a UK fan. When Joker didn’t offer, he took it to heart and formed a vendetta against the Cats. I think his beef was with Joker, not the new staff, so look for this to maybe give him a hard time. All likelyhood, though, he sticks with UL.

  8. The thing people dont understand about Kyle is he realy doesnt have any animosity to Uk. Joker offerd him the night he committed to UL. I herd that from his coach. I think he is at odds with a few UK twitter creapers that jumped on him about the Cardinals. That being said from what I have seen of Kyle he has fallen in love with the UL fans and the University of Louisville. He was never a big UK fan according to my son that goes to school with him.He liked UL when he went to camp as a freshman and they moved to the top of his list. I think UL would lose TJ before they lost Kyle..The UL fans have nothing to worry about here. Kyle is a man of his word. You are getting a quality individual aswell as a great QB. I have known him since grade school and have always been impressed.

  9. Kyle’s been able to witness how the UofL has treated Teddy B. and kept their word to him, something Miami didn’t do and lost him. After reading all the incredibly positive things the Florida player’s said about Coach Strong, and how they still miss him along with what he’s done here, who would want to play for anyone else, much less one of the diabolical Stoops Brothers?
