Louisville swing-man Angel Nunez’s sophomore season hasn’t gotten off to the start that he had hoped for.

Nunez has missed Louisville’s first eight games of the season due to a concussion and isn’t expected to return anytime soon. Coach Pitino said on his radio show last night that Nunez could be out at least another month.

Angel didn’t make the trip with the team to College of Charleston earlier this week. He is reportedly having issues being around bright lighting. It sounds like this concussion could be pretty severe.

I still think when healthy, Nunez could find his way into the rotation depending on the opponent. His length is valuable and regardless of what Pitino said during the preseason, Nunez is easily one of the top shooters on the team.
